Bowler Racing
Diana, the number 14 truck, panned at speed under a stormy sky, the background streaked by motion blur

Truck racing,
done properly.

Compete hard, race clean, and carry the livery with pride. Every round of the season is another chapter.

Our story

Hard work. Paddock graft.
Proper preparation.

Bowler Racing is an independent, family-run team in the British Truck Racing Championship.

We race Diana, a Jochen Hahn-built MAN TGX, as number 14. Champion in 2022, ours since the end of that year.

Meet Diana

John Bowler leads from the driver’s seat. Around him: family, friends and a brilliant crew — all pulling in the same direction.

The story so far2022–now

One truck.
Four seasons.

  1. 2022

    The truck

Diana, a Jochen Hahn-built MAN TGX, wins the championship. At the end of the year she becomes ours.

  2. 2023

    First season

Our first season racing her, in Division 1 of the British Truck Racing Championship.

  3. Since

    The sharp end

At the sharp end of Division 1 in every season we’ve raced her.

  4. Now

    Round by round

The full championship calendar as number 14 — with John Bowler in the driver’s seat.

How we go racing
Two crew members fitting red bodywork to Diana in an arched workshop, a black dog at their feet
Where it starts

Workshop first.
Race day second.

  • Built in the workshop

Lap times are set before the green flag. Setup, tyre prep and data review — so race day is about driving, not fixing.

  • Proven on the circuit

Full-throttle truck racing is still a thinking sport. Tyre management, gap calls, and knowing when to commit — that’s where races are won.

  • Shared in the paddock

Race weekends are better when we share them. The paddock is open, and so are we.
